• Make a colour chart on black paper to show the metallic sheen of the colour to best advantage.
• Layer two colours over each other to create a third colour.
• Use the Silver to create shimmering highlights.

• Make a colour chart on white paper to see the subtle differences in colours.
• Add water to the dry pencils to create a watercolour effect.
• Merge two wet colours together to make a third colour.
• Create textured effects by flicking tiny shards from the tip of a dry pencil with a craft knife onto wet paper.
• Lay dry colour over a dried wash of the same colour to give deeper tones.
• Draw into wet colour with a dry pencil to create interesting effects.
